Suri Alpacas

Pearl is precocious little character. She is friendly but also has spunky attitude. She has glistening greasy fleece with nice crimp. She got her name from the pearlescent look coming off her fleece.

Perseverance is lovely rose grey girl out of Gracie Linn and Immortal Caesar. We are really excited about her and she will likely stay in our herd to further out grey breeding program.

Curiosity is a stunning true black with great luster. Her dam Willow is a great parent and has a history of producing lovely true black crias. Her sire is our boy Copper that comes from the Captain Blackfoot line. She is likely to stay in our herd.

Our sweet little Pumpkin was born on Thanksgiving morning over 4 weeks late,but was only 5.5 lbs. She is the princess of Rolling Rock Ranch Alpacas and such a determined and happy spirit. As of Jan 9th 2016 little Pumpkin is almost 16 lbs. We don't know how big she is going to get and wonder if she will ever be full sized. But her spirit and personality are bigger than any other alpaca at RRRA's. We love you Princess Pumpkin! Keep fighting! Copper is silky dark brown cria out of the famous FDA Captain Blackfoot. His dam, Benchmark's Perucoyo Blessing is an awarded full Accoyo white. Both of his parents have produced many awarded crias. Copper has that delicious deep red brown fleece that silky soft. In the sun his shiny fleece has a bright copper finish that gave him his name. His conformation is about as flat and straight as is possible and he has a stunning full head. Copper has a very friendly and calm disposition. He always been extremely easy to handle. We are looking forward to showing Copper and anticipate that he is going to make an amazing sire.

Killowatt is finally here! What a gentle sweet boy. Ancestral performance His sire Accoyo Chaska is a 9 time champion with his progeny collecting over 30 banners in their own right. He has sired IAO Supreme Champions in both Halter AND Fleece and won the coveted IAO Supreme Fleece Champion himself with his 3rd fleece. His dam Cala Lily has a lovely VERY consistent fleece with her SD still under 5 at 5 years of age, which for suris is REALLY GOOD. And she is throwing that in her offspring, so we expect that to be a dominate trait for Kilowatt. His full brother Powerline had the rolling skin as a cria all the way into his belly, we expect wonderful density from him. Kilowatt had the same rolling skin as a cria also. What the judges said: Sharon Loner at the AFW AND California Classic show this year raved on the consistency of his fleece and how clear it was that it was in natural pasture condition, but still opened to the skin with dense lustrous locks. She awarded him the Championship both times. Wade Gease at CABA this year was very admiring of his consistency and awarded him the Reserve Champion banner against some stuff competition. 2015 Histogram uploaded. This little guy is icy hot! He almost looks white from a distance, but is light silver grey all the way through.

Aegon is a really gentle little boy. Very good temperament. He is very dark silver grey. We realized this weekend he looks almost exactly like his grandfather Ameripaca's Jacques.

Little Quentin was born the week we started the stay at home quarantine and we just couldn't resist the name. We are really excited to have this little modern guy out of GLR Armani join our herd and add to our grey breeding program.

RRRA Caesar's Aracas is a very nice dark grey. He has a great background with modern grey on his dam's side and his sire is our RRRA's Immortal Caesar that so far has a 100% grey track record. If you looking for a quality future grey sire with both standard grey and modern grey in his background, then Aracas is your boy. This is one that we are not 100% sure we want to sell, but would consider a full price offer to the right farm. Caesar has produced 5 light to dark standard grey crias to date. He has also produced 2 true rose grey crias. We are hopeful that his strong genetics will continue to be passed down from his offspring.. This is a great chance to own a junior herdsire with a very strong grey background.

Stormy is lovely traditional grey. She has sweet personality and the loveliest eye lashes. Stormy had the most adorable cria in May 2016, Miss Prima Sola. We love Sola's coloring so much that we are planning on pairing Stormy back with Aftershock soon.

Our little Val is looking all grown up! She has developed a deep rich brown fleece with really good luster. This is girl is going to be a showstopper and she knows it! Val's sire Tanglewood's Mahogany Jester is a son FDA Captain Blackfoot, where she get's her amazing color and great fleece.

Sashay is a real beauty with everything wrapped up into one package. The luster on her fleece is just blinding even in the dust of the field. She has a great upright stance from both of her parents as they are both tall and stretchy. Her head is that great wedge shape and she has beautiful eyes. Her fiber stats are exactly what all breeders are looking for with a comfort factor of 98.55%. Her dam, Sweet Suri Sitka was Color Champion at OABA and is from the well respected Sweet Briar Alpaca Farm and has been a great producer with unassisted births and rich milk where she gets her crias weights up easily. She is very regal in the way she carriers herself. Sashay's grand dam won many blue ribbons including Nationals and won the Best Luster Award. Her Grand sire is the champion producer Peruvian Maverick from the famous Peruvian Angel. Her sire, Stetson, carries the wonderful Accoyo bloodlines of Jackpot, Torbio and Belmonte. He placed 1st in both Futurity and AOBA Nationals. He is just a beautiful male with exceptional fleece qualities. 2013 Fiber Statistics (17 mos.) AFD 19.25 SD 4.27 CF 98.55%

Gracie is a special girl. Her mother Serenity Linn was a Futurity champion and her sire Painted Black was just stunning. Gracie was a surprise for us because she has some grey in her fleece, just enough to remind us she has grey in her background.

This little girl is solid white except for one medium brown on her back side. We marked her as solid blanket, but she does have this one spot towards the back. Really nice quality fleece and hard to find a nice pure white. She weened in August, so she is now ready to go to a good home.
